Cela signifie qu&rsquo;il est capable de mesurer un couple tout en imposant un mouvement rotatif. Il est donc possible d&rsquo;entra\u00eener un m\u00e9canisme et de mesurer simultan\u00e9ment le couple transmis et la position angulaire. Contrairement \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres syst\u00e8mes, il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une mesure de couple pur (et non de couple-force r\u00e9alis\u00e9e au moyen d&rsquo;un capteur de force).
