NRCtech products: our sensors

NRCtech has developed a precious know-how in the field of design and manufacturing of dynamic sensors. Historically, each of our sensors was developed because no satisfactory equipment was found on the market for the specific measurements needed by our customers.

For these reasons, we have developed:

• onboard miniature accelerometers
• specific data loggers
• rotating torque sensors

All the specific aspects needed in the realization of these sensors, from the electronics to the mechanics, are mastered in house. Therefore, we are can quickly modify existing sensors to answer quickly the specific needs of our customers.

Torque sensors: the MuT.02 case

We developed a series of torque sensors allowing dynamic measures in rotation. For the MuT.02 sensor, this aspect is made possible by the use of aerostatic bearings. The aerostatic bearings limit the friction to a negligible value, allowing small torque measurements. The MuT.02 resolution can go down to 5 microNm.
